Divergent

Beatrice has a choice. As a sixteen-year-old, she may choose what faction she will live in for the rest of her life. She can choose; Candor, the honest, Amity, the peaceful, Dauntless, the brave, Erudite, the intelligent, or her parent's faction, Abnegation, the selfless. Every minute after she makes her choice throws her world into turmoil, and she can't turn back now. She must keep a secret hidden, a secret that could destroy her, and try to be initiated into her new faction with her new friends. I loved this book, and the story is so fast-paced that I couldn't put it down. I can't wait until the next book, Insurgent, comes out.

But there is one thing that the emperor hasn't been expecting...the 12-year-old boy is really a 16-year-old girl named Eona. She will have to fight to be chosen, because not only is she a girl, but she is also crippled. Can she be chosen?

The Giver

This book is about a world where there are no problems. Everything is perfect, and everything is the same. There is no war. There is no pain. But when Jonah is given his job by the Chief Elder, he is chosen to get special training. The Giver holds memories of colors, and happiness. But he also has memories of war. Jonas begins to see the truth, and cannot go back. He must choose. This book was required reading, but is intresting and shows what life could be like...and why it shouldn't be that way.

He and his friends have to find out what is going on, save a goddess and his friend Piper's father, and learn where Percy, the son of Posidon is. And by the way...could there be a Roman camp for children like Jason, or is he the only one?

Fallen

Luce Price is at the boarding school Sword & Cross, where they only have one phone call a week, and cameras everywhere. There's a boy, Daniel Grigori who seems familiar to her. Amazingly familiar. It's love at first sight... except he doesn't want to have anything to do with her, and seems to want to be as far away from her as possible. What she wants to know is why he is so nice, then pushes her away, and she is willing to do anything to find out why...
This book is really intresting, and I don't want to give too much away, but this is a story of a tragic love that happends over and over, but always has had the same ending. Until now.

Graceling

Rare people in Katsa's land have an extreme skill, called a Grace. It varies from person to person, and most kings keep them close. They are easy to recognize because they have two different colored eyes, but it can take a while to develop. When Katsa was eight, she killed a man with her bare hands when he tried to attack her. The king believes her Grace is killing, so brings her to the palace and has her work on control, and forces her to hurt people for him. When she tries to rescue someone, she meets another man that seems to be like her, Prince Po. That meeting turns her world upside down and learn the terrible secret of a king, what her Grace means, what it is to have friends, and how it feels to be a teacher and helper, instead of destroying. This book is a great story.

Prophecy of the Sisters

Lia and her twin sister Alice have a problem. Their father has died, and with the death, a prophecy is revealed. One of the twins is good, the other evil. One is the guardian, the other is the gate. The problem is that there will be a twist along the way, changing everything that Lia thought. This book is amazing, and is good to dive into. I really enjoyed reading this book, and you may be able to make a theory about what might happen, or maybe you won't! :)
